VODAFONE AD

I love the new Vodafone ad that has been splashed all over the city Hoardings.....It has these very beautifully shot young faces and little things they have to say.....one particular hoarding caught my attention, though there aint anythinthig spectacular about it, its simplicity puts you in a "feel good" state of mind.....it said " Revisit your college days, have cutting chai and meet old friends".....another one featuring a trendy teenager with a nose ring mentions" discover your city, visit the museums, and hit the new hangouts"......

The innocence and simplicity of the ad made me a child again and makes me wanna just go out there on my own and discove those parts of mumbai i havent seen before....now that i know what to do when Gans leaves for europe the day after....I am really looking forward to rediscover the child in me.....

The rain in the pane is always in the Train

Oh how I love the Monsoons ....dunno why but cloudy weather always lifts up my mood....maybe i am a freak....i hate sunshine....probably it comes from living in a tropical climate....

Monsoon to me means... respite from the awful heat........ , wearing knee length clothes and showing off my legs ( during other days Gans wouldnt let me wear knee length clothes, Monsoons are the only exception).......carry my beautiful Singaporean Umbrella......cute little rainy day Flat slippers.....raindrops touching my nose when i am sitting near the window in the MUMBAI LOCAL.....hot hot Pakoras and Garam Chai.....Lazy Sundays in Coffee Day.....taking the clothes off the washing line and competing with Gans on who folds the clothes faster.....

There are downsides to my favourite season but not many, like for example, one major drawback is not being able to eat out, due to fear of diseases....then the water and traffic logged roads.....the muddy stations, especially subarban stations in Mumbai.....

Inspite of all the shortcomings...Monsoons are still my favourite season.......
